After two years' driving, the only negative I can throw at the S60D5 SE is too much tyre noise and wear from the P6000's and dealer prices which are bordering on the insane.
Over £40 for a pair of wiper blades.
The car's comfort, accelaration, economy and ergonomics allow long trips to be covered with consumate ease. London to Monaco in 10 hours (38mpg). Superb.
Excellent seats, a booming stereo, over 500 miles on 40 quid's worth of fuel!

It is economical, well laid out with quality fittings. The Auto model is smooth with good acceleration and fuel economy is 50mpg if driven carefully.
Just one problem: the boot is large but the opening is awkward and makes the space internally hard to use.
I've only done 7,000 miles (from new) but it has impressed to date.
Order a brochure, find your nearest dealer or book a test drive
I've had 6 VWs now including this one and it is a mixed bag. In no particular order the economy is poor despite the FSI badging and in town never…
Why is there so much whining about the rear sets? It's small - it's called a "mini" (hint). It didn't get any smaller after you bought it, so deal…
