I cover 30,000 miles a year and this car is very good on trunk roads.
Fuel economy is between 34 and 36 mpg, power is low and handling on country lanes is poor.
Minor niggles are the position of the front and rear fog light switches and the poor visibility due to the wide A pillars.
The major problem is the turning circle, parking this car is a pain!
Apart from that, the car has had no major defects. It is comfortable to drive and people let you out at road junctions. I pity the BMW and Mercedes drivers.
Absolute joke! Get an X-type or Jeep!!!
This is a fantastic car for the money. You get an absolute bargain for under 20K.
The drive is impeccable; nothing I have driven comes close to this car. It is very easy to get used to, extraordinarily comfortable not only for the driver but all the passengers and it offers great acceleration for only 140bhp.
The interior is beautifully crafted and robust, while the exterior offers head-turning features. If you are looking for a luxury car this is the one to go for, when I was buying this car I looked at other ‘luxury’ cars such as the Jag X-type and the 3-series which didn’t compare in all areas - drive, looks, quality and most of all value for money – a superb buy.
I really would not recommend this car because it is dated and is not worth the money!
Although the drive is OK and the size of the boot is OK, it is over priced and not worth the money!
Don't go near it!

Even after 8 months I still look forward to driving this car. The handling is superb, the 8 speed gearbox a dream. There is a bit of lag when you…
