For The Vauxhall Antara is a spacious, five-seat SUV that comes with lots of safety kit.

Against The ride is uncomfortable and the steering vague, plus the Antara is noisy and inefficient, and its cabin feels cheap.

Buyer's notes

Target Price team says:

Although it has a hill descent system as standard and is available with four-wheel drive, the Vauxhall Antara doesn’t have the ground clearance of more hardcore SUVs. This would be fine if it offered on-road finesse, but it doesn’t.

Of the models available, the front-wheel-drive diesel looks the best value, although we’re still to drive this.

All Antaras comes with 12 months breakdown cover and Vauxhall’s 100,000-mile, unlimited time warranty. Unfortunately, this warranty is limited to one owner.
