    My car

I have covered 12,000 miles + now in 10 months and I have been very impressed with the drive and chassis of this car , it is a fantastic car to drive and inspires confidence , it feels so sure footed and glued to the road , I drive the 6 speed auto and it is a great auto box , it also has the electronic brake which has proved trouble free , I have the panoramic windscreen fitted and the car has attracted many admirers , the fuel economy is excellent and has frequently returned 55 + mpg on a motorway run , I cannot fault this car , even access to the rear has elicited no complaints from the few who have travelled in the rear , the stereo is superb as is the heater and air conditioning , a great car ,

    My car

I got my 1.6 Astra GTC Turbo in June 2012 and have loved driving it ever since I first got in it for a test drive. I have had no problems with it at all and nothing was found at its first years service. Accelleration, handeling, comfort are all excellent, I can throw my GTC into corners and know that it will be able to handle pretty much what ever I can throw at it on the road. The front sport seats support and hold you in place and are really comfortable. It is a little heavy on petrol if you do short trips around town and have a heavy foot (though saying that having a heavy foot makes a pretty nice roaring noise) The GTC looks very nice on the outside and feels the same on the inside. Ive had a lot of people say how nice it looks. I drive alot of hire cars of the equivelent standard with work and have to say that the Astra GTC is my favourite (a little biased) it also looks the least plasticy out of all of them on the inside (them being hire cars I usually have - A3, Focus, Golf and the Octavia) I would thoroughly recomend getting an Astra GTC, its a fun car to drive and I always look forward to getting behind the wheel.

    My car

I collected my car in mid April 2013 but before i decided on it i looked around and could not find the answers to the question i wanted to know , everyday question i would imagine others would want to know too. Anyway on with my review , firstly the colour .I ordered mine in Asteroid Grey which is the pearlecent option , in the sunlight the grey changes colour , to yellow a reddy brown with a hint of green and blue . In short it looks stunning . Interior , very nice seats with faux leather on the outsides but looks and importantly smells great . Seats are very supportive and are held in place by the large seat bolsters , there is no lumbar adjust though . As of now Vauxhall no longer fit the electric parking brake as standard anymore its now an option . Don't i had one on my Insignia and prefer a real handbrake which the GTC has . The centre cup holders have been changed to the 3 hole variety as apposed to the lift out section previously . the door cards are also trimmed in the faux leather and also have red led lights which illuminate the door bins which looks very good . The only critisism is of the seat belt , there is no height adjustment on the post , I am 6ft 2 and the belt can rub on my neck , but its not too bad . The rain sensing wipers are pretty annoying wipe when you dont want and dont when you do . Automatic main bean is poor also please turn it off i have .Some wind noise from wipers but not too bad . Handles fantastic and goes just a well . Highly recommended.
