    My car

Picked up my GTC yesterday. Travelled 50 miles in my Insignia to PX it for the GTC in the tail-end of Hurricane Gonzalo. I thought the Insignia had a puncture as it was being thrown around. Coming home was a totally different story, boy did the GTC hug the road. Don't get me wrong I have loved my Insignia over the last 3 years but the GTC was a different class in that weather. Very responsive in all gears. Although I could feel the bumps in the road more than the Insignia it felt more like I was driving. I was very confident with the road holding on all corners. My wife liked having the handbrake back but I preferred the electronic. Didn't like the set up on the Information Centre on the dash but was pleased to read when I got home that this can be personalised. (also pleased I can personalise the key so that I don't need to change the radio settings back after my wife has been in the car) But maybe she won't be driving it that much :-P Pleased with the amount of room for the passengers in the rear. I have given the running costs 5* because I didn't want to give any negatives at the moment but obviously can't comment on this just yet. Sports seats are very comfortable. Absolutely awesome so far. 12/10. I can't wait until the weekend to have a good run out.

    My car

I have had my 2.0 CDTi SRI AUTO since Oct 2012 and have done 44,000 miles and all in all its proved to be a fantastic car! Its not lacking in power throughout the whole range and the auto gear changes are both quick & smooth. The satnav is good though we have an intermittent problem with it as it will cut out and say it cant read the sd card but then it goes ok again - it happens every so often. However the satnav itself is brill. We've recently had the 2nd service and only the rear brakes needed changing so the build quality is great considering the mileage. Apart from a puncture on the front nearside all the other tyres are the originals & we are informed still have a good few miles left on them so even they have lasted well! All in all we are really happy with our GTC. It looks and drives sporty and it keeps up well with the likes of all the BMWs & Audis on the motorways.

    My car

I have covered 12,000 miles + now in 10 months and I have been very impressed with the drive and chassis of this car , it is a fantastic car to drive and inspires confidence , it feels so sure footed and glued to the road , I drive the 6 speed auto and it is a great auto box , it also has the electronic brake which has proved trouble free , I have the panoramic windscreen fitted and the car has attracted many admirers , the fuel economy is excellent and has frequently returned 55 + mpg on a motorway run , I cannot fault this car , even access to the rear has elicited no complaints from the few who have travelled in the rear , the stereo is superb as is the heater and air conditioning , a great car ,

    My car

I got my 1.6 Astra GTC Turbo in June 2012 and have loved driving it ever since I first got in it for a test drive. I have had no problems with it at all and nothing was found at its first years service. Accelleration, handeling, comfort are all excellent, I can throw my GTC into corners and know that it will be able to handle pretty much what ever I can throw at it on the road. The front sport seats support and hold you in place and are really comfortable. It is a little heavy on petrol if you do short trips around town and have a heavy foot (though saying that having a heavy foot makes a pretty nice roaring noise) The GTC looks very nice on the outside and feels the same on the inside. Ive had a lot of people say how nice it looks. I drive alot of hire cars of the equivelent standard with work and have to say that the Astra GTC is my favourite (a little biased) it also looks the least plasticy out of all of them on the inside (them being hire cars I usually have - A3, Focus, Golf and the Octavia) I would thoroughly recomend getting an Astra GTC, its a fun car to drive and I always look forward to getting behind the wheel.
