I bought this astra from a Vauxhall main dealer as it was an ex demonstrator, i was not sure about it at first as i part exchanged an Audi A3 S Line 170bhp which is a very nice car but i wanted a change. I was very impressed the car is lovely to drive and the specification is extremely high, if you were to buy the same car in an Audi you would probably be looking at 30k plus. The performance on the 125bhp model isnt the best and you have to work the engine quite hard but i cannot fault anything else at the moment, well if i am being picky the interior roof lining could be black to match the rest of the interior but this is a very minor observation. I am worried about the depreciation of the car but i think all cars are virtually the same in the long run so iam hoping the Astra will prove me wrong.
I have owned a 1.4tsi petrol for 2 years, and am VERY satisfied. Get past the utilitarian looks, and it lives up to its name as the best small family…
Being a mum of two who has had 3 X5's the last being a very nice 40d M Sport, the decision to go to a smaller car was one which did fill me with dread…
