My car

I run a Passat cc GT 140 on a 5 year lease, with maintenance. I took delivery in Sept 2011 and so have had it 15 Months. I can honestly find little to fault with it, it is silky smooth to drive and handling is excellent. I opted for the DSG gearbox which is simply fantastic. Despite opting for the lower powered 140BHP option for fuel economy reasons, I have been very pleasantly surprised at the responsiveness of the engine. In Sport mode especially, it becomes a different car, with the DSG gearbox using all of the revs (up to 5000rpm!) with astonishing push. I generally drive it more gently, but it overtakes briskly when needed. I opted for the park assistance, which combined with the parking sensors,makes parking very simple and accurate. The automatic handbrake is a delight, you can just forget about it - it comes on as you stop and releases as you pull away, seamlessly!

I have done 15K miles so far and the engine is just running in nicely - returning 45MPG on mixed driving, but with a fair amount of short runs. Pretty impressive for an auto!

The car looks simply stunning in my view, and is the equal of Audis, BMW's and in my view nicer than the Jag! I'm still waiting for the first service due at about 18,500K.
