Bought this car for my wife in October 2012. It is metallic black with grey leather and has the DSG7 gearbox, Xenons, GPS etc. The car is really nice to drive with a very compliant ride and no scuttle-shake - in this respect much better than a Merc cabriolet I had before. The DSG changes gear very smoothly and helps consumption as it will shift into 7th as low as 30mph. The roof operation is very quick and it's great that it will even work without having to stop and apply the handbrake - even without the wind deflector there is little buffeting below 70mph and there's plenty of room for 4 people (although the boot will only accommodate 2 people's luggage). The engine is very smooth and the car is remarkably quiet, unless you put your foot down when the exhaust makes some beautiful music with a kind of "pop" as the DSG shifts up. My only criticisms are the clunky GPS (RNS 315), front sensors which need to be turned on each time you park and automatic headlamps which are rather slow in dipping and reverting to main beam. Amazingly I got nearly 18% discount plus a 5-year loan at a 2% fixed rate interest from VW Bank. Apparently the car was ear-marked for sale at the motor show but came back unsold. So obviously the recession isn't all bad news!
