The 2014 Audi A8 is available to order now, priced from £58,800.
On the outside, the refreshed A8 has a new bonnet, grille and bumpers. The front and rear lights have also been restyled, and top spec models are fitted with new adaptive LED headlights.
The A8 is available with a choice of seven engines. The two diesels are a 254bhp 3.0-litre TDI and a 380bhp 4.0 TDI. Petrols are a 306bhp 3.0, a 4.0-litre V8 with either 429bhp or 513bhp, and a 493bhp 6.3 W12. There is also a 242bhp 2.0-litre petrol hybrid, with official fuel economy of 44.8mpg and CO2 emissions of 144g/km.
With the exception of the 3.0-litre petrol and the 513bhp S8, the A8 is also available in long-wheelbase guise, which adds another 130mm of rear legroom.
Three trim levels are offered in the UK: SE, SE Executive and Sport Executive. SE starts at £58,800 and is available with only the 3.0 TDI engine. Standard equipment includes 18-inch alloys, LED headlights, digital radio, sat-nav and Audi’s Drive Select system.
Upgrading to SE Executive costs another £2605 and adds 19-inch wheels, parking sensors and rear-view camera, and a motorised boot lid.
Sport Executive trim starts at £65,005 for the 3.0 TDI, and includes 20-inch alloys, Bose surround sound system, adaptive LED headlights and in-car wi-fi.
The new Audi A8 will arrive at dealers in January, with the first customer deliveries expected soon after.
