Fiat is producing Abarth models as fast as the cars themselves, and it has unveiled another in Geneva - the Grande Punto Abarth Supersport.
The key change is the Esseesse kit, which increases power from the 1.4 engine to 177bhp and pulling power to 199lbft. That means a 0-62mph time of 7.5sec.
A dual-mode exhaust system delivers a throaty rasp above 4000rpm, while there are also track-approved Sabelt Abarth Racing leather seats, some racy paintwork and a sat-nav system that can also record telemetry from the car.
There is no information as to whether the car will go on sale in the UK.
Fiat Abarth Assetto Corse
Also on display is the race-prepared Abarth 500 Assetto Corse.
It has a 187bhp 1.4-litre engine, and is fully race prepared. As a result of being stripped out, it weighs 120kg less than a standard Fiat 500.
The cars will compete in one-make 500 Abarth Trophy championships around Europe and in Italy, visiting the UK's Brands Hatch circuit on July 19.
