The new Alpina B4 Bi-Turbo will be unveiled at The Goodwood Festival of Speed at the end of this month.
Alpina, known for its performance variants of current BMW models, has used the BMW 435i as the base for the B4, which will come in coupe and convertible forms.
The 3.0-litre straight-six engine employs two twin-scroll turbochargers to help develop 410bhp and 443 lb ft of pulling power, driving the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic gearbox. This equates to a 0-62mph time for the coupe of 4.2 seconds and a top speed of 188mph, whilst delivering 37mpg and emitting 177g/km of CO2.
Prices start at £58,950 for the coupe and £62,950 for the convertible. Standard equipment includes Adaptive M Sport Suspension, heated sports seats, xenon headlights, 20-inch Alpina alloy wheels and four exhaust tailpipes. Options are as per the regular 4 Series, in addition to which Alpina will offer its usual bespoke personalisation service.
