The new MG3 supermini will cost from 8399 when it goes on sale later this year.
However, all of the models in the MG3 range will be affordable, with the range-topping model costing just 9999.
Four models will be offered 3Time, 3Form, 3Form Sport and 3Style with a 105bhp 1.5-litre petrol motor as the only engine. Fuel economy is 48.7mpg on average, and it will emit 136g/km of CO2, putting it in band E for VED, making a tax disc cost 125 a year.
3Time is the entry-level model, starting at 8399, with standard equipment that includes a CD player with USB and aux input, hill-hold function, six airbags and sports seats.
The 9299 3Form adds Bluetooth with audio streaming, air-conditioning and a DAB radio, while the 3Form Sport costs 9549 and brings 16-inch alloys, sideskirts and a rear roof spoiler.
Top-of-the-range 3Style cars cost 9999 and add cruise control and auto lights and wipers.
The full list of options has yet to be confirmed, but MG has revealed that a series of personalisation options will be offered. There will be 10 body colours to choose from, as well as exterior graphics packs and contrast mirror colours. Customers will also be able to select part-leather upholstery on the 3Style.
Pricing for the full list of equipment, including a tow bar and navigation options, will be confirmed closer to the MG3's launch.
