New Aston V12 Vantage S Roadster and Range Rover Sport SVR to appear in US

Jaguar Land Rover and Aston Martin will reveal new models at the forthcoming 2014 Pebble Beach Automotive Weekend.
Jaguar Land Rover will use the event to reveal its new Range Rover Sport SVR. It is powered by a 542bhp supercharged V8, based on the version Jaguar uses in its R-S models. The model has been developed by the company’s Special Vehicles Operations department and is the first to use the new SVR designation that will feature on all future high-performance models.
Meanwhile the Aston Martin V12 Vantage S Roadster will be given its global debut at the event. The new model will reach 201mph and accelerate to 60mph in 3.9seconds, making it the fastest convertible the company has ever produced.
Pebble Beach will also be the first time the new Jaguar F-type Project 7 has been seen in the US. It will be shown alongside the first prototypes of Jaguar’s Lightweight E-type, of which just six will be built.
The Pebble Beach Automotive Weekend runs from the August 14-17.
