News roundup: Skoda Citigo Monte Carlo and Seat Mango Mii

Skoda
The Skoda Citigo is the latest model in the company's range to come with a Monte Carlo edition. The Citigo Monte Carlo is based on the SE trim but adds design and equipment upgrades. It adds black highlights, notably on the alloy wheels, front and rear spoiler, grille, door mirrors and rear diffuser. It also comes with lowered suspension, a sports steering wheel and Monte Carlo upholstery. It is available in three- and five-door forms, and, despite the sporty styling and stiffer suspension, is only offered with the lower-powered 1.0-litre, 59bhp engine. The three-door model starts at £10,590 and the five-door costs from £10,940 – a £1810 premium over the standard SE car in both cases.

Seat
The Seat Mii also gets a new fashion-focused trim, with the launch of the Seat Mii by Mango. The model is the most highly equipped in the Mii range, and has been created in collaboration with the Spanish fashion company, Mango. It is based on the Sport trim, and  comes with a choice of dark grey, black or silver alloy wheels, tinted windows and contrasting door mirrors and exterior trim. Inside it gets leather and Alcantara upholstery and branded door sills and floor mats. It also comes with remote central locking, electric windows, satellite-navigation and Bluetooth all included as standard. A Style Pack is offered as a £690 option, which includes a panoramic sunroof and front foglights. It comes with the 74bhp 1.0-litre petrol engine, and costs from £10,995 for the three-door and £11,345 for the five-door.

Renault
A new Renault Captur model will go on sale in the UK this autumn, based on the Helly Hansen edition that's destined for the rest of Europe. The UK specification car will be a range-topping version of the small SUV, and is likely to include chrome skid plates at the front and rear, tinted rear windows, leather upholstery and heated front seats.
Renault has also announced extra deposit contributions to boost its finance offerings for the summer. The offers apply to the Clio, Captur, Zoe, Megane and Scenic ranges, and are available on cars ordered in May and registered by June 30.

Peugeot
Pricing has been revealed for the Peugeot 208 Style, a new special edition in the supermini's range. The Style trim is based on the mid-level Active trim, but adds equipment such as a panoramic glass roof, satellite navigation, parking sensors, leather interior details, chrome door mirrors and Style badging. Peugeot says this equipment is worth an additional £1400, but the Style costs £750 more than the Active model, with prces starting at £13,445. Style is available with a choice of 1.4-litre or 1.6-litre diesel engines, or the three-cylinder 1.2-litre petrol and is on sale now.
