Superb car. Comfortable with limousine rear legroom and a big boot. We get 50mpg even when loaded up with gear and the perm awd works really well. I like the image - not a Germanic Audi/BMW but usually driven by actual country dwellers such as farmers, vets and people who benefit from awd and a ride height as good as most soft roader SUVs Quality seems really good other than the steering wheel volume control occasionally not working. We regularly do 200+ mile journeys and the comfort is superb Overall hard to fault if you want a large comfortable load carrying estate with all the off road/snow coping ability 99% of drivers will need

I bought this car new in 2011. After a few months running in, it has settled to an average 48.7mpg filling it tank to tank. In 2 years I have only had a volume switch on the steering wheel replaced, nothing else at all. I don't add any oil between services. As a family car we have plenty of space and with all our gear the self levelling suspension helps to keep the HID lights pointing correctly. We do go off road and I have driven one of these down the bed of a stream, climbed out up a wet muddy bank without any drama. The ground clearance is great for my needs and when my neighbours get stuck in the snow trying to get to work, they all come knocking on our door to pull them out. If you want a tank range of over 650 miles (at which point I bottled out) try one for yourself.

I bought a used 2009 2.0D SE Navplus model just over a month ago. It is relaxing and comfortable to drive, with good alround visibility, and tall wing mirrows are great. I achieve between 51-53 mpg on motorway journeys and between 45-50 mpg on shorter trips. The eletronic parking brake takes getting used to, however you can release it be just gently accelerating away. There is some body lean on twisty B roads, but that is often because I found myself going faster due to the traction from the all wheel wheel drive. It holds the road well in the wet. I've been off road in it, on rutted and muddy farm tracks, fields, and also up rocky tracks to mountain huts and it takes it in its stride. Just remember to slow down off road if you don't want to get bumped around! I am 6 foot and when driving there is room for another 6 footer behind me, without knees in my back. Great for my mountaineering trips. The large touch screen sat nav is great, especially as it allows me to enter latitude and longitude for some of the more remote mountain locations I visit. The DVD player will play MP3 DVDs, with a DVD holding about 450 tracks or so. It also has aux input for ipod or mp3 no more crackly IPOD radio tuneins! Bluetooth hands free phone works flawlessly. Climate control works well, heated seats get hot really quickly. Negotiated full size spare wheel, towbar and electrics, when buying. Not fan of repair kits based on previous experience. Very pleased with car, as is wife
