Every Target Price is for a brand-new UK-sourced model – not a pre-registered, imported
or nearly-new one – and it's backed by a written quote from a dealer. What's more,
we update our prices every day to keep track of the latest developments in the marketplace.
How can I match it - or beat it?
Shop around - ring or visit several dealers and brokers then play one off against
the other.
Don't tell the salesman how much you've got to spend - and remember that Target Prices are starting points for negotiations.
Stick to the car you want - dealers may push you towards a cheaper car to try to
keep their profit margin up.
Get as much extra spec as possible - if the salesman won't budge on price, try to get a CD player or metallic paint thrown in.
