Despite some problems with a lack of seat adjustability, the Spider’s cabin is a pleasant place to be. There are some brilliantly executed design touches, allied to decently set out controls. Seats are comfortable too, though the lack of cabin width will cause a few sore elbows for larger drivers.
Alfa Romeo Spider Sports space & practicality
Unlike the GTV coupé it’s based on, the two-seat Spider doesn’t even have a small rear seat to help out with luggage stowage, so you’re relegated to making do with a tiny boot. Room up front isn’t great either. With the roof up, the low ceiling can cause problems for lanky drivers and visibility is poor.
Alfa Romeo Spider Sports equipment
Turismo trim is no longer available. The remaining Lusso spec is loaded with goodies including climate control, heated door mirrors, leather upholstery and an electric hood. Options include a 10-disc CD autochanger with integral satellite-navigation.
