There's no doubt the latest A3 isn't as well finished inside or as polished overall as the previous model, but it still rates well against the premium competition of the day, which includes the BMW 1 Series and Mercedes A-Class. The A3's comfortable, enjoyable to drive, has space for the family and a range of punchy petrol, diesel and hybrid engines. We recommend the 40 TFSIe for its electric range, low company car tax and performance. It’s one of the best plug-ins out there and a fine car in its own right.get the best price
The trimSee full equipment
S line trim is focused on sporty looks; you get even larger wheels (18in), a bodykit, LED headlights, privacy glass, dynamic indicators and sports seats. You also get stiffer sports suspension as standard, although luckily you can revert to regular suspension for no extra charge for a smoother ride.

Compared with the more powerful diesel the 30 TDI needs to be worked quite hard if you want to make decent progress. It hits 0-62mph in 10.1sec and officially averages over 60mpg. It's also RDE2 compliant.
