There's a wide range of adjustment for the seat and steering wheel, but the pedals are significantly offset to the right on UK A4s. The busy centre console layout can be confusing, too, but it becomes easier to navigate with time, and Audi's MMI central control system is fairly intuitive. Visibility is fine, thanks to a large glass area.
Audi A4 ALLROAD 4x4 space & practicality
The regular A4 Avant provides enough space for four adults and their luggage, and the beefed-up Allroad is no different. There's plenty of head- and legroom throughout, while the well-shaped boot is a good size and features a reversible floor – one side is carpeted, while the other has a wipe-clean surface. The rear seats fold down if you need even more space, but they don't lie completely flat.
Audi A4 ALLROAD 4x4 equipment
The A4 Allroad is offered in a single trim, which is broadly similar to the SE model on other A4s. This means you get three-zone climate control, front and rear electric windows, a 10-speaker stereo and automatic lights and wipers. However, the Allroad does bring a few extras, including 18-inch alloy wheels and a storage pack with additional nets and compartments.
