New A4 saloon sets the class benchmark for interior quality and engine refinementread the full model review
This range-topping trim gets more aggressive-looking S line bumpers and side skirts, 18in alloys and S line detailing inside, too. You also get LED headlights and electric lumbar adjustment for the front seats, but this trim is fairly pricey and you’ll still need to fork out extra if you want leather seats, as many buyers will.
Engine:3.0 TDI Quattro
In many respects, this is our favourite engine because, being a V6, it's supremely refined yet is surprisingly efficient. Although the four-wheel-drive-only V6 218 can't compete with the front-wheel drive Ultra models in terms of carbon emissions, it'll only cost a business user an extra 1% in company car tax when compared with the 2.0 TDI quattro. If you must have four-wheel drive, we'd be very tempted to choose this engine.
