This range-topping trim gets more aggressive-looking S line bumpers and side skirts, 18in alloys, sports suspension and S line detailing inside. You also get LED headlights and front sports seats upholstered in leather/Alcantara. However, this trim is fairly pricey and you’ll still need to fork out extra if you want full leather seats.

Comes with four-wheel drive only and it’s properly fast, reaching 0-62mph in just six seconds, but it sounds rather gruff and unrefined while dong so. The seven-speed dual-clutch auto gearbox can be jerky in traffic but fires through individual gears faster than the eight-speed auto found in the 3.0 TDI 286. For day-to-day driving, though, the TDI would still be our choice.
