Review

The Audi Q3 is practical, has plenty of tech and is decent to drive. However, the Range Rover Evoque and Volvo XC40 are both classier inside, more comfortable and, ultimately, are better all-rounders.

S line is worth a look, especially if you're taken by its more aggressive styling. It also adds larger 19in wheels and privacy glass, along with ambient interior lighting. Just remember that you also get sports suspension that doesn't do ride comfort any favours.

This 187bhp 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine is available exclusively with four-wheel drive and automatic gearbox, so it isn't cheap. Unless performance is high on the list of your priorities, the cheaper 35 TFSI is a better buy.
