The Audi TT RS isn’t the sharpest driver’s car in the class, but few similarly priced sports cars can match its outright pace and beautifully constructed interiorread the full model review
The powerful TTS is more of a bespoke model than a trim level. It gets a similarly generous equipment list to the S line versions, but adds Audi’s magnetic ride, which lets you stiffen or soften the suspension for different types of driving. You still have to pay extra for climate control and sat-nav, however.

With more than 300bhp and four-wheel drive as standard, the TTS can accelerate almost as quickly as a Porsche 911 Cabriolet – particularly if you go for the optional six-speed (S tronic) automatic gearbox. However, the manual version is cheaper to buy and more fun to drive. It’s just a shame the engine doesn’t sound more tuneful.
