This is our favourite trim. You get air-conditioning, Alcantara and leather seats, rear parking sensors, xenon headlights, 18-inch alloy wheels, Bluetooth, a USB socket and a DAB radio. However, you’ll probably want to pay extra for climate control and the Technology pack, which includes sat-nav. As with all TT Roadsters, we’d also recommend the optional wind deflector.
Engine:2.0T FSI Quattro
If you’re a speed demon who likes a bit of excitement, the 2.0-litre is worth considering. It has an extra 50bhp over the 1.8 so performance is seriously impressive – particularly at medium revs – and it sounds great. The engine is available with both six-speed manual and automatic gearboxes, but we’d stick with the manual.
