The BMW 5 Series is a brilliant, classy and wonderfully refined luxury saloon, with surprisingly low running costs if you go for the 530e plug-in hybrid or 520d mild hybrid. It's a more complete package than its chief rivals, such as the Audi A6, Mercedes E-Class and Jaguar XF.get the best price
This entry-level trim comes with all the essentials and quite a lot more on top. You get part-electrically operated and heated front seats, leather trim, a 12.3in infotainment screen, digital instruments, concierge service, sat-nav, Apple CarPlay, ambient interior lighting, dual-zone climate control, LED headlights, an automatically dimming rear-view mirror, front and rear parking sensors, automatic lights and wipers, and 17in alloy wheels (18in with the more powerful engines). You only really need to fork out for adjustable lumbar support, adjustable dampers (Variable Damping Control) and split-folding rear seats (Through-Loading System).
We'd avoid this version and have the diesel 520d or plug-in 530e instead.
