Effectively some sporty garnish adding 19in wheels (20s for the 750i) darker exterior trim, more aggressive bumpers, an M Sport steering wheel plus dark wood and headlining inside. Long wheelbase models add and electric glass sunroof and an electric roller blind for the rear screen, too.

This 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 packs a sizable 523bhp, enough for sports car-worrying performance. Indeed, it’s barely any slower than the vastly more expensive M760Li on paper.
