2012 LA Auto Show

The LA Auto Show has opened today and What Car? is reporting live from the event.

Along with the key American manufacturers, most of the big European and Japanese brands are at the show.

A number of cars have made their debut, including the Jaguar XFR-S, all-new Toyota RAV4 and Chevrolet Spark EV.

The Volkswagen Beetle Cabriolet has been revealed to the public, too, and the Hyundai Veloster C3 Roll Top gives an idea of how a soft-top Veloster could look.

The 2013 Mini Countryman is also at the show, while the face-lifted Ford Fiesta and new Subaru Forester have made their US debuts.

The Mercedes-Benz Ener-G Force concept car a radical vision of what a G-Class could look like in 2025 is one of the stars of the show.

The BMW i3 Concept Coupe is a major attraction, too, and gives a good idea of how the i3 production car will look when it is launched in late 2013.
