The Delta is decent value, especially when you consider the five years' of free servicing thrown in with the price. Reasonable discounts should be available from dealers, too. Fuel economy and emissions are also impressive, and predicted residual values aren’t as weak as you might expect.
Chrysler Delta Hatchback quality & reliability
The Delta uses tried and trusted Fiat engines, so you shouldn't have any worries over reliability. The cabin quality is disappointing, though. There are too many hard, scratchy plastics, and most of the dials and switches have a cheap, flimsy feel.
Chrysler Delta Hatchback safety & security
The Delta was awarded a maximum five-star rating in Euro NCAP crash tests, and twin front, side and curtain airbags are standard across the board. Stability control is also standard on every model in the line-up – as are an alarm and deadlocks.
