Review

The Citroon C3 Aircross is practical and reasonably priced, with an attractive interior and lots of personalisation options. However, plenty of rivals have superior infotainment systems, and are more comfortable and fun to drive.

Mid-level Shine trim brings a larger 9in touchscreen and a pull-out load floor that makes it easy to slide heavy items into the boot. It also gets automatic emergency braking, so is well worth considering.

The sole diesel engine in the C3 Aircross line-up has even more low rev punch than the Puretech 100 petrol. However, it's more expensive to buy and, well, diesel isn't very fashionable at the moment.
