Review

Massively spacious, but interior quality and handling are likely to disappoint someone used to a regular MPV. If you just want a lot of space and don’t need all those seats, try a Citroën Berlingo instead – it provides all the versatility you need, especially in its longer-wheelbase form, but in a more manageably sized package.

This is the poshest Spacetourer, and has leather seating throughout, heated and electrically adjustable front seats with a massage function, sat-nav, electric sliding doors and dual-zone climate control. It also gives you the option of the 2.0 180 Blue HDi engine.

This engine is exclusive to more expensive versions of Spacetourer and is only available with an eight-speed automatic. It doesn’t turn it into a particularly quick MPV, so we’d suggest stick with the mid-range 145 version.
