Dacia Duster 1.3 TCe 130 Prestige 5dr Review

The model
Read full reviewThe headline news about the Dacia Duster range is its ultra-low starting price – far lower than any family SUV rival. But we recommend the mid-level Comfort trim, which is priced inline with an MG ZS, but the Duster will still end up costing you less to run over three years. It has some obvious shortcomings, such as its so-so handling and low-rent interior, but if you want cheap, no-frills motoring with more than enough everyday practicality, it's unrivalled.
get the best priceThe trim
See full equipmentThere’s no doubting that this is the swankiest Duster in the line-up with climate control, blind spot monitoring, a 360deg camera and keyless entry.
The engine
See full engine specsOur favourite Duster engine is available only on mid-range Comfort models and above. Its 1.3-litres and 128bhp give it a pleasing briskness (0-62mph takes 10.6sec) and noticeably more overtaking shove than the less expensive entry-level, 99bhp 1.0-litre TCe 100
