The Terios’s small seats and height-only steering wheel adjustment might prevent some drivers from getting comfy at the wheel, but the seat adjusts for height. The all-round visibility is good and the dash is clearly laid out and places everything within easy reach.
Daihatsu Terios 4x4 space & practicality
Although the Terios is a lot smaller than most 4x4s, there’s still decent space inside. While the cabin is narrow for three across the back seat, there’s enough head- and legroom for four tall adults to sit comfortably. Access to the rear seats and boot is excellent. The boot is also a good size and shape, while the rear seats fold and tumble forward to leave a flat, extended load area.
Daihatsu Terios 4x4 equipment
Entry-level S trim wants for little in the way of equipment. Remote central locking, four electric windows, a CD player and air-conditioning are standard. Pricier SX trim adds visual upgrades such as alloy wheels, wheelarch extensions, roof rails, fog lamps and privacy glass. Automatic models come in SE trim, which features most of the same cosmetic extras.
