Going electric has fixed some of the weak points of the 3 Crossback – but not all of them. It’s quieter, for example, and a little less fractious along bumpy roads. Objectively, though, rivals such as the Kia e-Niro have a longer range, are better to drive and are much more practical.
The all-electric E-Tense feels the strongest on the road and is very refined, too. It's an expensive option, but at least range is decent at around 140 miles in the real world. It's more comfortable and quicker than other versions too, making it our pick of the range.
