Great to look at and surprisingly good fun – just don't expect to carry lots of people and luggage. Go for a version with the larger 42kWh battery for a reasonable range between charges.
The trimSee full equipment
Sport trim gets you a chunkier bodykit than other 500s, along 15in alloys and graphite-coloured door mirrors. Worth a look, but we reckon Lounge trim makes more sense.
The engineSee full engine specs
Despite the 'hybrid' badge, the 500 can't travel on electric power alone and you can't plug it in. It only has a tiny battery that barely does anything the improve the weedy acceleration, although performance is adequate for town driving.
