The model
Read full reviewThe Fiat 500 Cabrio is a terrific drop-top that just happens to be electric. Despite that, it’s well-priced, has a decent range and is better to drive than the Mini Cabriolet to boot. Naturally the boot is tiny, just like the rear seats, however there’s plenty of room for two up front to lounge out in comfort.

See full engine specsThis entry-level petrol is our favourite engine. It’s no firecracker, but it’s nippy enough around town and is quite fun to work hard when you want to. You’ll be needing to change down through the five-speed manual gearbox quite regularly, but generally this engine is the more refined of the petrol options, and does an adequate job in the 500. An automatic gearbox is available, but we haven’t tried it yet. This is the only engine you can have with entry-level Pop trim.
