Review

The Ford Ecosport’s chunky looks and commanding driving position are easy to fall for, but it’s a disappointing car to drive and is stingy with space inside. With no diesel or four-wheel drive option, there are few reasons to choose an Ecosport over more accomplished rivals.

This trim gives you a unique set of 17in alloy wheels, black exterior styling tweaks along with plenty of black-plastic body cladding, privacy glass and some premium floor mats. The entry-level Titanium model is better value.

Of the engines available at the moment, we’d suggest you look to this 124bhp 1.0-litre turbo petrol. It's free-revving, flexible and provides good performance.
