All the ST-Line features plus bigger 18in wheels, power-folding door mirrors, front and rear parking sensors, privacy glass, automatic wipers, part-leather seats with six-way electric adjustment on the driver’s side, heated front seats, passenger height and lumbar adjustment, dual-zone climate control and an 8.0in infotainment screen with sat-nav. It’s a bit pricey but worth considering if you can stretch to it.

Although we’ve not sampled all the diesels, expect this 118bhp version that we have tried to be the sweet spot. It offers a good spread of shove once you’ve got past its momentary low-end lag and is relatively quiet and smooth on the move.
