Ford Focus 1.5 EcoBlue Trend 5dr Review
Category: Family car
Section: Version review

The model
Read full reviewThe Ford Focus stands out as one of the best driver’s cars in the class, with truly entertaining handling if you go for ST-Line trim. It has sharp dynamics, a good ride, quiet cruising manners and lots of passenger space. The iffy interior quality, reduced ease of use for the climate controls, and slightly lacklustre performance are the main areas that mark it down.
The trim
See full equipmentThe entry-level Focus trim gives you plenty of standard equipment. The list includes: 16in alloy wheels, LED headlights, a heated windscreen, manual air conditioning, adjustable lumbar support, cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, lane-keeping assist and an 8.0in touchscreen infotainment system with DAB radio, Bluetooth, built-in sat-nav and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone mirroring.
The engine
See full engine specsThis is the only diesel engine available for the Focus, and is certainly efficient, but the EcoBoost petrol is better to drive.
