Review

The Ford Kuga isn't competitive in a number of areas, most notably its cheap-feeling interior and relative lack of practicality. If you really want a Kuga stick to the cheaper trims, because for the price of the more expensive versions there are much better alternatives, including the Peugeot 5008 or Mazda CX-5.

Trim: ST-Line Edition

Adds keyless entry to the ST-Line's features, as well as bigger wheels and a panoramic sunroof. However, it's one to avoid, because it is expensive, the 19in wheels hurt the ride and the sunroof robs head room.

Engine: 1.5 EcoBoost 176

The 1.5 Ecoboost 176 in theory has more grunt, but its standard four-wheel drive and automatic gearbox blunt performance, so it's actually slower than the Ecoboost 150.
