Entry-level Zetec Edition trim is all you really need. You actually get plenty of standard kit, including 17in alloy wheels, dual-zone climate control, front and rear parking sensors, cruise control and sat-nav.
This 2.0-litre diesel offers stronger performance than the 1.5 TDCi, especially at medium revs and is quiet unless you work it really hard. It isn’t as efficient or economical as the 1.5, though, and is obviously more expensive to buy. It's available in regular or Econetic form; this latter emits less CO2 for cheaper company car tax bills.
