Stepping up to ST-Line trim brings bigger wheels, sportier styling and push-button start over entry-level Zetec Edition trim, but you also get sports suspension that does the ride no favours and doesn't significantly improve the handling.
This 2.0-litre diesel offers stronger performance than the 1.5 TDCi, especially at medium revs and is quiet unless you work it really hard. It isn’t as efficient or economical as the 1.5, though, and is obviously more expensive to buy. It's available in regular or Econetic form; this latter emits less CO2 for cheaper company car tax bills.
