The model
Read full reviewWe'd definitely keep it cheap with the Mustang Mach E and stick with the entry-level Standard Range RWD. That's still not as good as the Tesla Model 3 or Volkwagen ID.4, with its abrupt ride being the biggest disappointment, but it's still a decent car offering good value, it's well equipped and has a good infotainment system. The more expensive versions have a longer range but beyond that, there are much better cars for the money.

See full equipmentThe Extended Range RWD Mach-E adds to the already generous equipment of the Standard Range car with a 360-degree parking camera, a hands-free tailgate, a 10-speaker B&O Premium Sound System including a dashboard soundbar, advanced active park assist and a full panorama roof. The Extended Range AWD adds to that 19in wheels and red brake calipers.
The engine
See full engine specsIn this rear-wheel-drive form with the bigger 88kWh (useable) battery you get a healthy 290bhp for 0-62mph in 7.0sec and it will officially go 379 miles on a single charge.
