We'd definitely keep it cheap with the Mustang Mach-E and stick with the entry-level Standard Range RWD. That's still not as good as the Tesla Model 3 or Volkswagen ID.4. The abrupt ride is a disappointment, but it's still a decent, well-equipped car offering good value. The more expensive versions have a longer range, and the GT is the best to drive and most comfortable in the line-up, but there are much better cars for the money.

The Extended Range RWD Mach-E adds to the already generous equipment of the Standard Range car with a 360-degree parking camera, a hands-free tailgate, a 10-speaker B&O Premium Sound System including a dashboard soundbar, advanced active park assist and a full panorama roof. The Extended Range AWD adds to that 19in wheels and red brake calipers.
