There’s no entry-level S model for the saloon, so SE is the cheapest way into the range. You get a decent amount of equipment including 16in alloy wheels, heated door mirrors, climate control, a DAB radio with Bluetooth and a 5.0in display, auto lights and a rear central armrest.
Engine: 1.6 i-DTEC
Company car drivers and those doing in excess of 12,000 miles a year might want to consider the diesel. It’s not as refined as similar diesel engines in the Volkswagen Golf and Audi A3, but it is quieter than the Ford Focus’ oil-burner. It’s strong enough, but does have a narrow powerband.
