Used Hyundai i10 reliability: the owners' view
In our latest reliability survey, not a single owner reported a fault with their 2020-present Hyundai i10, making it effectively the gold standard for dependability. However, a handful of issues have been mentioned in previous years. The most common faults related to electrical components, including occasional warning lights and intermittent problems with the infotainment system. However, these were generally minor and did not affect the i10's drivability.
In previous years, Hyundai’s dealer network received mixed feedback. While several owners found their local dealerships helpful and efficient, others reported delays in sourcing replacement parts, leading to longer-than-expected repair times. A few also mentioned that software-related faults required multiple visits to resolve.
In our latest survey, feedback on dealers was overwhelmingly positive. Owners praised the efficiency of the service departments, noting that routine maintenance was handled professionally. With no major repairs or fixes required, the interaction with dealerships was stress-free, bolstered by Hyundai’s five-year warranty which provides excellent peace of mind for those buying used.
