The i800’s dashboard is reasonably free from clutter, but the switches could do with clearer markings. The upright seating position will be too van-like for some, too, while visibility isn’t as good as you might think.
Hyundai i800 space & practicality
Being able to carry eight people in one car at this price makes the i800 a steal. However, this is more of a people-carrier than an MPV and it doesn't perform the fancy seat-folding tricks seen in other seven-seaters. Even with eight on board, there’s plenty of room for bags, though, and the sliding doors make life much easier in tight parking spaces.
Hyundai i800 equipment
The great-value theme continues when it comes to the standard kit: you get air-con, alloys, remote locking, a CD player (albeit without an RDS radio), privacy glass and a heated seat for the driver. For the money, that’s not a bad list.
