Review

The Jaguar XF is one of the best cars to drive in the luxury car class, and it comes with an impressive amount of kit as standard, too. Its engines aren't quite as efficient and quick as its key rivals, and interior build quality is off the pace, but it's still definitely worth considering.

Trim: Prestige

Entry-level Prestige trim isn't as spartan as you might imagine, with heated leather seats, cruise control, keyless start, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, automatic headlights and wipers, LED daytime running lights, rear parking sensors, an 8.0in touchscreen, a DAB radio and sat-nav all featuring as standard.

Engine: 2.0d [240]

This twin-turbo diesel comes with a rear-wheel drive layout as standard, although four-wheel drive is available as an option. It’s a largely smooth and punchy engine, made even better by the slick eight-speed automatic gearbox. More expensive to run than the other diesels, but still delivers respectable running costs.
