Review

The Jaguar XF is one of the best cars to drive in the luxury car class, and it comes with an impressive amount of kit as standard, too. Its engines aren't quite as efficient and quick as its key rivals, and interior build quality is off the pace, but it's still definitely worth considering.

Trim: R-Sport

R-Sport models feature all the same kit that's standard on Prestige trim, but add front parking sensors and more aggressive styling both inside and out. This includes black detailing and bigger alloy wheels.

Engine: 2.0i [250]

The higher-powered of the two 2.0-litre petrol engines is a punchy performer. It’s a smooth and quiet engine, too. There’s no major fuel economy or CO2 emissions penalty for choosing it over the lower-powered unit, so it’s worth a look if you find that version a little slow. An eight-speed automatic is the only gearbox this engine is available with.
