The Jaguar XF is one of the best cars to drive in the luxury car class, and it comes with an impressive amount of kit as standard, too. Its engines aren't quite as efficient and quick as its key rivals, and interior build quality is off the pace, but it's still definitely worth considering.

Trim: Chequered Flag

Chequered Flag adds a sport bumper, boot spoiler, unique badging, black 18in alloy wheels and choice of Yulong White, Santorini Black or Eager Grey colours. Inside, it includes R-Sport leather seats, a Navigation Pro infotainment system and aluminium dashboard trim. This trim is limited to specific engine options.

Engine: 2.0i [300]

We haven't tried this engine yet, but if you want a really fast petrol the V6 is faster and likely to sound sweeter. It isn't that much more expensive, either.
