Review

The Kia Ceed Sportswagon is competitive in lots of areas but, unlike the best rival estates, it fails to be outstanding anywhere and give us a compelling reason to recommend it over the better-handling Ford Focus, the more practical Skoda Octavia, the fuel-efficient Toyota Corolla or the more refined and comfortable Volkswagen Golf.

This trim level comes with all of the essentials, including 16in alloy wheels, automatic headlights, a leather trimmed steering wheel and gearknob, air-con, cruise control, all-round electric windows, electrically adjusted and heated door mirrors, plus a reversing camera and 8.0in infotainment touchscreen with smartphone connectivity. It’s definitely worth adding the Advanced Driving Assistance Pack for improved safety features.
