Our favourite version is the entry-level Standard Range Air, but if you need to reliably travel more than 200 miles between charges, the Long Range is well worth a look.

See full equipmentThe top-of-the-range GT-Line S gets an upgraded eight-speaker Harman Kardon stereo system, a customisable head-up display, electrically adjustable heated (and ventilated) front seats, heated outer rear seats and a powered tailgate. It’s too pricey to recommend, though.
The engine
See full engine specsWhichever battery option you go for, the EV3 comes with the same 201bhp electric motor. It delivers decent acceleration, with 0-62mph taking around 7.5 seconds.
